Reinforcing Business Resilience Through Entrepreneurial Competencies During Pandemic COVID-19: A Case of Indonesian MSMEs

Although research on entrepreneurial competencies has been widely carried out in the last decades, this topic is still preliminary. Indonesian MSMEs have severely impacted by COVID-19, with losses of up to millions. Entrepreneurial are believed be main driver handling issue. Underlined disaster and crisis management theory, expected give a company both long-term adaptability innovation abilities that may result significant improvements their business as well short-term coping capacity recover from violent shocks. Thus, study builds novel conceptual framework determines influence resilience context. Several mediator variables were also included model: dynamic capability ambidexterity. Through purposive sampling, sample 220 MSME actors get involved study. PLS-SEM procedure through two-stage approach was used test proposed model. The results show significantly impact MSMEs. It found capabilities ambidexterity partially mediated those relationships. From these results, suggests practitioners should become more aware survive uncertain world.
